Madison Mutual Insurance

This place absolutely lied repeatedly to me. First I cancelled a secondary vehicle, 3 weeks prior to my bill coming due. They charged me anyway claiming I didn’t cancel in a timely manner? Ok, I was a little angry, but was told they would apply the overcharge to my next cycle and I wouldn’t receive a bill next month. Guess what happened? You, guessed it. They scammed me out of $90. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are frauds.

Unfortunately dealing with representative Brent Lehr was a negative experience. I found him evasive and untrustworthy. His service skills included speaking to me with sarcasm and speaking over me in a case where the child of his client totaled our vehicle while illegally transporting several other teenagers. I do not have insurance with them and would never recommend their company to anyone else either after dealing with him on this one claim - the offer and payout aside, I received sub-par treatment in the area of extremely basic customer service with a negligence to answer my questions and deal with me in a kind manor. I find a great lack in common courtesy and transparency.

Worst disaster of our lives, thought we could count on our insurance company Madison Mutual to come through, NOPE. Our adjuster Jase Travis was a jerk about everything. For over a year we were forced to deal with that guy. It was awful. The most awful experience of my life. Lost our house to water damage, they fought us on EVERYTHING. Tried to short us on pretty much every single little thing. Even after we had contracted experts to come in and validate things, Jase would still discredit what they said. Our home is almost 4,000 sq ft, in a private neighborhood, on a golf course. The water started on the third floor, went all the way through the house, and out the basement. Jase originally said the damage looked to be about $55,000, which he wrote a check for and wanted me to sign off on. Heck no. We had general contractors come in, estimates of almost $200,000. He was way off and he knew it, he just wanted me to release them after writing me that little check that wasn’t going to do much. Keep in mind, this all happened Jan 7, 2020. Right before pandemic. So my children and i had no home, in a pandemic. You’d think that Madison Mutual would’ve taken care of the accommodations….WRONG. Even though we have that coverage, nope. All said and done, they shorted me almost $80,000 through the whole process. Many many emails and conversations to prove it all too.
